Assembly note: replacing part of a finished cut
A finished cut can be changed three ways on the register: on a timeline, by recompositing after a unit changes, or by asking the tool for a new version where there is no editor. From 7 source pages, read 2026-09-25; no maker pays to be listed.
The timeline is the most direct. Recompositing keeps the parts as the source of truth. Asking is simplest and makes every fix a generation.
Eight editors say nothing on the point, which usually means export is the end of the line in the product.

Each regeneration provides three variations — select your favorite and confirm with Replace with Selected Image.

2From an episode pipeline
The episode pipeline SceneMixer documents has its own answer to “Replacing part of a finished cut”; two lines from its pages:
The lines are re-heard and written in the language your project is set to, and the finished episode is spoken by the voices attached to your own characters.
